At the last Village of Crete Board Meeting, EMA Director Ryan Allison recognized several Crete EMA members for going above and beyond in 2025, each logging 100+ hours in service to the community.
Recognized members:
• Deputy Director Vanderaa — 156 hours
• Captain Blake — 278.25 hours
• Sergeant Skaggs — 144 hours
• Responder Walters — 186.5 hours
• Responder Muir — 101 hours
• Responder Gordon — 230 hours
A special recognition was also given to Responder Slover, who joined in July 2025 and has already contributed 72.25 hours.
Crete EMA doesn’t run without its volunteers. These hours represent late nights, early mornings, and answering the call when others can’t. Thank you for your service.
