Flashlight Egg Hunt Ages 9-13

We are back again for this hit of a hunt. Grab your flashlight and hunt down those prize-filled eggs. Count your treasures beneath the stars. Check-in will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Residents and Crete Township residents can register for free before the deadline over the phone at 708.672.6969, online, or at our Administrative Center 737 W Exchange st in Crete.

All children who register before the deadline will receive a prize bag. Please bring a canned or dry good to donate to the Crete Pantry and register before March 24. Registration after the deadline will be $5 and limited to onsite the day of the hunt.

Egg Hunt Ages 1-8

The time is here…it’s time for the Easter Bunny to hide his eggs in Crete Park. Bring a basket big enough to fill with all those eggs! The hunt is for walking toddlers and children up to 8 years old. The Bunny will be available after the hunt for children to visit.
Check-in will begin at 10:30 a.m.

During this independent storytime experience, your child will enjoy spending time with other preschoolers while listening to stories, songs, fingerplays, games, and learning stations.

STEAM Tweens: Rain-Glow!

Let’s shake away the winter blues and have some fun with the rest of the rainbow! Join us as we experiment with glow-in-the-dark colors to make a glowing eruption, fireworks in a jar, and make glow in dark art work!

St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, so let’s get our rainbows ready for those pots of gold! Join us as we make our rainbows while experimenting with density, absorption, and making our spectroscopes!

Let’s LEGO: Minecraft Castles

Let’s LEGO on the first Thursday of every month. Each month we’ll have a new LEGO building challenge to complete and put on display in the library.  This month you’ll be challenged to make Minecraft castles!
