Crete Police Department assisted the U.S. Marshals Service and the Illinois Department of Corrections with an arrest yesterday.
“The U.S. Marshals Service requested our assistance in detaining an individual who was wanted for a parole violation,” Crete Police Chief Pieritz said.
Early Tuesday morning, a large group of law enforcement officers located the individual in the area of Vincennes and Division St.
“Officers located and arrested the subject without incident,” Chief Pieritz said, adding that “Crete Police Department is always happy to assist our law enforcement partners when possible.”
