Crete Municipal Code requires commercial solicitors operating within the Village to register with the Crete Police Department and obtain a permit.
Even permitted solicitors may not knock on your door if you have a “NO SOLICITORS INVITED” sticker posted, which is available for free at Village Hall.
Solicitation without the required permit or in defiance of a posted notice is unlawful and should be reported to the Crete Police Department.
