Restrictions
Village ordinance allows for no more than 3 dogs or 3 cats per household. Each dog or cat in a household must be licensed.
Vaccinations
A certificate of vaccination must be provided to obtain an animal license. The license fee is $10 and must be purchased in person at Village Hall. All animal licenses expire on April 30 of the current year.
Leash Law
All dogs and cats must be confined or on a leash. Dogs or cats running at large will be picked up by the Animal Control Officer and owners are subject to a fine. If a licensed pet is found, the animal can be returned to you prior to incurring charges by a veterinarian.
