Big thanks to Sgt. Konvalinka for heading downtown on his day off Saturday to help present at the IAPD/IPRA Soaring to New Heights Conference, the largest state park and recreation conference in the country, with more than 4,660 professionals in attendance.
The presentation focused on how smaller districts can collaborate with other taxing bodies to create large-scale community events. We’re grateful to Sgt. Konvalinka for taking the time to support this effort and for representing the Village and Police Department so well.
