The Village of Crete has officially declared a Local Disaster following the severe storms on July 27th.
This temporary 7-day declaration activates the local emergency operations plan, allowing the Village to bypass standard administrative procedures to more rapidly deploy municipal resources and personnel for ongoing cleanup and power restoration efforts.
