Crete PD Special Olympics Car Race Today
Crete PD’s very own Al Taylor is participating in the Five-O Law Enforcement Torch Run fundraiser for Special Olympics at Grundy County Speedway this afternoon. This ‘friendly’ stock car race features agencies from the greater Chicagoland area. Here’s the video from a couple years back:
Officer Taylor has so far raised over $3000 for Special Olympics Illinois. He will represent the Village of Crete in squad #133 today at Grundy County Speedway, located 8890 N Rt. Illinois 47 POB 846, Morris, IL 60450.
