Surf Internet is in the process of installing fiber optic lines in the Crete area. This fall they broke ground and started construction of their high-speed internet infrastructure.

Work wraps up locally by year’s end, with full completion in early 2027.
After 88 years, Walt’s Food Center is now Berkot’s Super Foods. The Crete location on East Exchange transitioned earlier this month, with a few signage details still being updated.
