Fire Department

Overview
Crete Fire Department operates out of two fire stations. Each station is equipped with an Advance Life Support ambulance and at least one fire engine. Station #1 also has a heavy rescue squad and grass fire truck.

Crete Fire Department has volunteer firefighters and paramedics. To help cover the daytime requirements, we employ firefighter / paramedics from various local departments and private ambulance companies. Together we provide fire protection and ambulance service to the residents of the Village.

Crete Fire Department's mission is to be responsive to the needs of our residents by providing a professional, well qualified staff devoted to the preservation of life and property.
